Imagine

You can’t see that Lola and Lilly are actually snuggled up here.

Lilly is under the blanket, it’s so hard to get a good pic of them snoozin’ together b/c Lilly is always under a blanket.

Here they are right after Brodi barged out of his room and startled them both.
Lola went right back to sleep but not Lilly.

I swear Lilly is doing her best to look relaxed but really she’s ready to attack whoever (brodi) ruined her perfect snoozin’.

This is typical of these two, I happened to be taking pics of an art project at the time so it was easy to capture their reactions.

(Side note- how perfect is that blanket, it’s from goodwill)

Lilly is so full of lil dog energy but also very patient, she’ll be wide awake and fully alert but just watch over me and Lola w/o disturbing us.

I know this b/c I usually only open my eyes when I wake up.

Lilly is actually a deeper thinker than I thought she was in the past, I didn’t give her enough credit.

Anyways…

This is the project

I’m making magnets. They’re clay, papier-mâché, and paint, not done of course.

Don’t worry if it seems I’m missing some characters, I am.

I’ve also been brainstorming about how to introduce my new lil one, Cadence. 🤷‍♂️ it’s like having a younger brodi but he has his own back story and personality.

He’s kind of like a mixture of Brodi and Dalton, Brodies brains mixed with Daltons emotions.

One more thing about Brodi, he has a new job, he’s coaching basketball for 6/7 year olds at the YMCA.

He has a supervisor all the time b/c he hasn’t completed all the training yet. I know some of it is “early childhood education” kinda stuff but he also has to take a first aid/cpr training class that I’ve taken for foster parenting/ adoption.

It’s basically a “how to react to a medical emergency” class, but it gives you a license that provides legal protection, believe it or not but ppl are sued for injuring someone in the process of saving an-others life.

Talk about ungrateful 😒. Cpr can break ribs. I’m afraid to use the heart defibrillator, I should probably study that more.

Overdoses usually need cpr or Narcan.
